Skagen44 is participating in wildcat well 2/11-11 in PL616 in the North Sea.
The wildcat 2/11-11 will be drilled on the Haribo prospect in the North Sea. The prospect is located 4 km West of Hod field and 8 km due South of the Valhall field.
The well will be drilled to a vertical depth of 3350 meters below the sea surface in the Hidra formation. The main reservoir is chalk in the Narve Formation, and the expected hydrocarbons are oil. The water depth at the well location is 68 meters.
The well will be drilled by the semi-submersible rig Transocean Searcher. The well operation will take 45 days in a dry hole scenario. The well is planned to be spudded mid June 2015. Edison Norge AS is the operator (25%) and the partners in the license are Noreco Norway AS (20%), Concedo ASA (20%), North Energy ASA (15%), Lime Petroleum Norway AS (15%) and Skagen44 AS (5%).
